The OFS-China 2023, organized by the China Society for Optical Engineering and Anhui University, was successfully held in Hefei from August 12th to 13th. The event gathered over a thousand leading experts from renowned optical fiber sensing manufacturers, end-users, universities, and research institutes. Accelink showcased its latest achievements in optical fiber sensing products, including the Optical sensor Processing Unit (OPU), during the conference. The Company provided dynamic demonstrations, showcasing its leading technologies and product capabilities in optical fiber core, optical components, and optical modules in the field of optical fiber sensing.
In recent years, Accelink has continuously achieved innovative breakthroughs in the field of optical fiber sensing. Tailored to different application scenarios, the Company presented a wide range of device-level and module-level solutions at the event. These solutions included compact narrow linewidth lasers, low-noise high-sensitivity coherent receivers, all-parametric synchronous monitoring OPU modules, multi-form vibration monitoring OPU modules, and temperature monitoring OPU modules, covering various fields such as smart grids, telecommunications operators, security, geological disasters, transportation, smart healthcare, renewable energy, civil engineering, etc. The applications have extensive prospects, capturing the attention and favor of visiting experts and customers on-site.
Prior to this, the successful seismic monitoring achieved by this optical fiber sensing innovation has garnered attention from numerous media outlets both within and outside the industry. The optical fiber sensing unit, known as OPU (Optical sensor Processing Unit), employs multi-sensing fusion technology, integrating vibration, strain, temperature, and attenuation monitoring into one unit. This enables real-time, all-parametric, and blind-spot-free monitoring over long distances with a single fiber core. Leveraging Accelink’s advantages in optical chip and device platforms, the OPU’s volume has been reduced by 90% compared to similar products at home and abroad, allowing flexible adaptation to various equipment specifications. The sensing accuracy can reach the “meter level,” and the single-span sensing distance extends up to 200 kilometers, breaking the record for ultra-long single-span sensing.
Accelink remains committed to driving breakthroughs and extensive applications in the field of optical fiber sensing. Looking ahead, Accelink will continue to collaborate with industry and industrial forces to achieve synergistic innovation, empowering a wide range of sectors and creating a brighter future for the world of optical networking.
